You Don’t Need The UN

In 1995 I burned the UN flag. Liberals equated that to burning “Old Glory.” I burned an enemy flag. Here are my reasons for wanting to end the UN. Continue reading

“Where there is no vision, the people perish:

CPoW supports the US Declaration, and the US Constitution. Many people are left with the impression, that we are living in the past, and have a retrograde mentality, as wanting to return America to the wholesome values of the 1950′s, and set up a “Leave it to Beaver” society. We are far more original than that. Let me explain. Every four years, Americans run for political office, promising to rein in runaway government, and then in office, doubling and tripling the size of government. Continue reading

The working man could certainly use a friend, which is why I’m a CPoW man. Abraham Lincoln once said that a nation’s economy has two main things, money and jobs; and, “We should keep them both in America.” I believe in free people, as opposed to free trade. Free trade was the 1816 Pro-slavery, Democrat party’s stance on economics. “The Laborer is worthy of his reward.”I Timothy 5:18 Free trade is the reason why Communist China is the 21st century superpower, and America is out of work. “Where the word of a king is, there is power:
and who may say unto him, What doest thou?” Ecclesiastes 8:4
By Riley J. Hood-State Chairman
In many systems of government, the Head of the Nation has more power; in relationship to their country than the US President does to America. For example, Castro is a dictator, and governs by decree, and will most likely continue to do so; until he dies and is sent to eternal punishment. The US President serves for a four year term, and two terms maximum at that. In many ways he is limited compared to other leaders. Having said that, the US President is still the most powerful position, politically, that a man can attain to. Why? Because: he is the Executive of the most powerful nation in the world. This situation won’t last forever, but that is the current status quo. Continue reading
Position Paper #2: 99% Pro-Life Isn’t Enough!
“Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed for destruction.” Proverbs 31:8
By Riley J. Hood- CPoW Candidate for US Senate
As Candidate for US Senate, my position on Pro-life is crystal clear, I’m 100% Pro-life. Once you give up on the Principle, you are left arguing over the numbers. In 1980, GH Bush introduced compromise into the Pro-Life movement. He stated he favored abortion in the cases of rape, incest, life and health of the mother. National Right to Life dubbed this position as, “98% Pro-life.” The GOP is a “big tent” party that accepts Pro-Abortionists in its ranks, such as Rudolph Guiliani, Colin Powell, and Steve Forbes. It dubs people who are only interested in outlawing partial-birth abortions as “pro-life.” The GOP is the 1% pro-life party. “Exceptions” amount to murder, that is why I joined CPoW. Continue reading
“The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest of men are exalted.” Psalm 12:8

When I was nine or ten, I was in a foster home that was into gardening. I mowed the lawns for half the street. I picked up the dog manure, pulled weeds, trimmed and chopped down trees; and was an all around chore-boy. My services were popular with the neighbors; my foster dad volunteered them at a discount. Being a ward of the state, I never saw a dime for my work. But it was, “good for the soul.” Continue reading
Position Paper #1: Sovereignty and Accountability
By Riley J. Hood-CPoW Candidate for US Senate
What is sovereignty? According to Webster’s II, New Riverside University Dictionary, the definition for sovereignty reads, “n.1 Supremacy of authority or rule as exercised by a sovereign or sovereign state.” For any government, sovereignty is essential. The American view of sovereignty is that God is Sovereign, and “national sovereignty” is from God. Government is therefore God’s minister, and its sovereignty is on a stewardship basis, not an ownership basis. That is why our founding fathers took great efforts to make the federal government accountable to the States and the people. As James Madison said, “If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary. In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men, the great difficulty lies in this: you must first enable the government to control the governed; and in the next place oblige it to control itself.” Continue reading

Recently I received an E-Update from a “conservative republican” State Representative about, “Keeping Badger Care Healthy.” He called Badger-Care a “vital tool for many Wisconsinites who have fallen on hard times.” This GOP man goes on to say, “When Wisconsin created Badger-Care in 1999, it was projected to cover about 40,000 people.” He doesn’t mention that in 1999 then Governor Tommy Thompson created Badger-Care. As of February 2008 the number of Badger-Care participants was 555,479. Continue reading
“But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear,

I will start this article by saying I know several Christian brethren, who enjoy reading fiction, and draw moral lessons from such works. They view it as somewhat similar to reading a parable in the Bible, yet they know the difference between God’s word and the writings of men. I uphold Christian liberty, and agree to disagree with them about the value of fiction. The older I become, the more I see a trend; namely liberals love fiction. The aforementioned brethren are exceptions to this general rule. Continue reading
“The horseleach hath two daughters, crying, Give, give.” Proverbs 30: 15
By Riley J. Hood-State Chairman
What are the “Evil Twins of Taxation?” They are the Property tax, and the Income tax. There are many taxes that could, and should be cut, these two are first on the chopping block because they are evil in the extreme. They are not a tax on your consumption, but are tyrannical, socialistic taxes on your very existence. These two taxes force feed the state, thus they are not compatible with a free America. That is why CPoW will work to eliminate them, and replace them with nothing. Continue reading
